Pictures of Beavertail Lighthouse
The original lighthouse named Beavertail or Beaver Tail Light was constructed in 1749. It was the third established light in colonial America, following Boston Light (1716) on Little Brewster Island and Nantucket's Brant Point Light (1746). Beavertail has remained an active navigation aid for the past 268 years.
